Hello all,

I'm fairly much a newbie, and recently bought a Panasonic Lumix G7.

I'm starting to experiment with shooting panorama shots.

I had no problem shooting about 6 pano shots and they look pretty good opening in Preview on my iMac...BUT, the've defaulted to Black & White Jpeg files.

Why would this be happening. Immediately before taking the panorama shots, I took about 6 Colour shots in the same location, and they're RAW and in colour as expected.

I had the camera set to take RAW only, without the added Jpeg of each

So, 2 queries. Does panorama always default to Jpeg, or is it possible to take pano shots in RAW mode. And secondly, what do I need to do with settings in order to make the pano shots Colour?

In-camera panorama feature of Panasonic is defaulted to jpg, using video technology such that the height of the frame is fixed to 1920 pixel...

Due to the limitation of the in-camera Panorama: jpg only, limited on height, hit and miss, easier to have motion artifact etc, I prefer to stitch multiple shots by the free ICE in PP.

B&W? Had you apply filter effect to it? What was your Photo Style in used?
