The Sony A3 and A3r

What makes great sense to me and for many others with similar interests would be a low-end Sony 135 format camera based on the A3000 grip design. It's still has the most practical handling of all Sony mirrorless cameras, especially for larger, longer lenses. that need to be held in place for extended lengths of time.

For such a camera, a fully articulated screen and viewfinder of moderate to good quality would be necessary and sufficient. Keeping the weight to a minimum as was the case with the A3000 would also be a requirement - that nice plasticity that keeps prices low and prevents muscle strain.

If the price could be kept at or below $1000US I could see it gaining a following. The parts are already available and as with other Sony cameras constructed of leftover parts, its a tried and true method.
