It is one of the most beautiful places I've visited in Washington State but was about 20 miles in, 1/2 of which was on a very rough, unmaintained trail. Unfortunately, overnight, instead of clearing, the change in wind direction brought in dense forest fire smoke and I left and walked the whole way out that next morning. But that evening until I was forced to my tent had fantastic lighting with rainbows and lighting flashes and areas of heavy rain. The lighting was about as good as it could be.
