RGBA is not ARGB. I'd bet that the large majority of people around here would understand "ARGB" to mean Adobe RGB (1998), and many of them would understand RGBA to refer to RGB plus an alpha channel.

Also, they are fundamentally different things. Adobe RGB (1998) is a color working space for which you can have an ICC profile. RGBA is a general method of representing color, not a particular working space.
