I own both the Z50 & D7500 as well. In my opinion, each have their own list of strengths and I select the camera I use based on what I need most out of my anticipated shooting. Having said that, I would have to gently agree with you in that the Z50's AF is slightly under that of the D7500 (I know I would pickup the D7500 over my Z50 when I'm shooting fast moving objects). But, I have also had great success capturing action with my Z50 also:

I've owned my Z50 coming close to 10 months now and I still feel like it's teaching me new things every time I use it.  It's lots of fun and a joy to use though.   I would describe my D7500 as solid, reliable, and gets the job done!  It's going no where soon either!
