Its an old camera now but I really liked what I got from it. Almost looks a little film like. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that my 700D has, but I'm finding I'm not getting on with my 700D, preferred my 650D and the little 1000D. I'm looking at getting another 1000D and selling the newer camera until I decide what I want as a replacement.

I feel the same about my 1100D. Had it for 7 years now and haverhave always preferred it over my 80D. Used 6D prices here are almost reasonable now, so thinking of selling the 80D for a 6D as I think it will fit my style/usage better.

Was taking some test shots the other night with my XSI (450D) which was my very first DSLR vs my 6D2 and I must say the XSI does have a more film look.  Especially when I push the ISO to 1600 (the max ISO) just for the grain you get which is very film like.  I have always loved the way the XSI (and I am sure many of the older cameras) handled noise at its max ISO.  With that said my 6D2 is very sharp and can use very high ISO levels.  So it is nice having option.

Darkness is the monster and your shutter is your sword, aperture your shield and iso your armor. Strike fast with your sword and defend well with your shield and hope your armor holds up.
