R5 Focus Stacking

Reading R5 manual, I discovered (unhappily) an answer to one question I had about focus bracketing: No flash use.  Since I shoot a lot of macro on the dim forest floor, this is not good news.  My outstanding question has to do with setting focus increment.  I'm not seeing how to dial in quantitative increments (like 1mm shift) only qualitative adjustments (less and more) based in some way on aperture setting.  If the camera thinks I am shooting a scenic landscape, this will not work for a tiny liverwort.  Appreciate any help understanding this
