I think there's scope for lightening it all a fraction more, mainly to retrieve more shadow detail. Not going for full blacks is a good move as it retains the subtlety of the rising mist and creates a depth between the viewer and the closest trees.

Thanks! Yes, maybe a touch lighter would work. I agree about retaining the subtlety of the scene as a whole.
