Severe vignetting with Nikon 10x, XC 50-230mm f/4.5-6.7 and APSC Fujifilm combo

Hello everyone
I am using a Fujifilm XT-3 with APSC size sensor, in front of which I have mounted an XC 50-230mm f/4.5-6.7 and in front of which I have mounted a Nikon Plan 10x / 0.25 WD 10.5 OFN 22 infinity corrected microscope objective. And I really need help!
This setup should not have any vignetting starting from 70mm (105mm FF equivalent) according to all the maths and articles done and read!
The truth is that it does have vignetting and it has a lot. It is massive. Actually, at 70mm (105 ff equiv.), there is more black on the screen than actual image. There is a shy, tiny image circle (40mm across) on the LCD that has a width of 70mm.
I am using the lens focused at infinity, and the Nikon objective is nearly touching the front element of the Fujinon lens.
Also my XC 50-230mm lens is pretty similar to the 70-200mm Nikon lenses used successfully in other setups, in all other aspects except aperture.
What do you think the problem is?

This is ~5x magnification @70mm (105mm FF equiv.)

And this is ~27x magnification @230mm (345mm FF equiv.) and still there is some vignetting.
The space between the lines on the LCD screen is 1mm on the calliper that sits in front of the 10x objective.
Thanks much in advance.
