Today National Public Radio posted a list of the “100 Greatest Title Tracks Ever Laid Down On Wax” (link provided below), which, for lack of any better ideas, inspired me to dedicate Challenge 208 to music.

Share with us images that you connect to artists, songs, albums, concerts, composers, etc. Feel free to pick one of the 100 tracks. Or not. For instance, post a lighting shot, and say it reminds you of Jackson Browne’s “You Love The Thunder”. Or a fog-shrouded lake and “Smoke on the Water”. No connection is too tenuous. “Green Onion” should be easy.

As usual, be creative and have some fun. We Got The Beat.

Wandering through all these songs! No Way Out

But Also, Blue Sky (With the Eat a Peach Cover)

But Really, Peaches and Herb 1967

(Love is strange, just back from the war, but sent to Detroit to put down the 1967 Riots-Me and Detroit!) (edit, I know that Put Down is a loaded phrase and I considered changing it...But based in Ft. Wayne Old Park, this was really my job )

But really maybe, The Best

Though, maybe this audio version from Dirty Dancing is Cleaner

It is almost like my whole early life is in this song search!

I can understand this.

Part of me still wants to choose the song before I fire the camera.
What song would you choose to go hunting for a shot?
Good question.

The answer is somewhat dependent on where I was heading to shoot.

For instance, if I was heading up to Madera Canyon, I might choose something from John Denver like Rocky Mountain High; or The Eagle And The Hawk.

I know just the song to accompany this video.

...fun, but really stunning to me after about the 1 minute mark.

(I left a message for you over under peaches)

Best Wishes, Traveller

I have been to that place (a bucket list destination) but didn't see that sunset parade. We did, however, get to ride on the elephants, something that is no longer being done.

Your spider would definitely make quick work of my mosquito (and hopefully many, many more). I was a quite a distance when I shot it and couldn't realistically stop down from f/2.8 due to the limited available light.

...wrapped it in spidery thread, a slightly blue cocoon, and is feeding on it.

People complained when I killed the last one a couple of months back...but I will tell you it is creepy spooky to watch him eat his prey...the cocoon diminishes, collapsing on itself as he sucks out the gelatinous mass that his catch has dissolved into.

It is creepy I tell you and I am avoiding the back bathroom to a degree...not so much to leave him in peace, as to shelter myself from the ravenous eating on display.

Perfect for some time lapse photos.

...I have a spare bedroom for you and your wife if necessary for you to properly conduct your studies.

Btu me? Putfffffft....I'm staying away.

Aren't you glad you have a choice of bathrooms?

When I click on the photo, I see nothing but a thumbnail shot and no EXIFS info.

For an eligible entry we need the date shot, usually in the EXIFS.

And a title?

I clicked on the picture - and nothing happens except getting a larger version of it.

So, tell me the story - where was it, when, who was playing?

Here is the DPP "Adjust Specific Areas" tool I used in my cloning attempt. While I wasn't successful at cloning ("burn seems a more apt description), I was satisfied with the result. I think I need to find a video to learn the technique properly.
