Is the problem "banding" or "swirling"?

Banding may be down to artificial lighting. If your local mains voltage is 50hz and the camera is set for 60hz (or vice versa) this will cause banding problems

Swirling sounds like moire which can be induced by re-scaling.

Does your software have any facility for coping with this?

I'm assuming the issue doesn't occur in the unedited video. If it does, maybe there's an in-camera setting that might help.

I think it's swirling rather than banding then as it doesn't appear in the original. I'm not sure if Kinemaster offers anything to reduce this, but it seems unlikely. I'll have a look into it.
