I finally got mine yesterday!  I was waiting for my local camera store to get one (I like to buy locally and help them during this Covid situation)

When I moved to FF (from a A6600/16-55G/10-18/70-350G), I got a A7iii with Tamron 17-28 and 28-200 as a starting kit.  I missed my 70-350G since I moved to FF, but the 100-400GM was way too expensive.  This Sigma 100-400 was release just a few weeks after I made the switch to FF so it was immediately added to my wish list!

I have not had much time to test it but initial “yard shots” show a lot of potential.  The lens is quite big compared to the Tamron 28-200 and is my first “big lens”.  Compared to my 70-350G on APS-C setup, the Sigma 100-400 is a nice alternative.

Built quality is very nice for that price, and image stabilization is enough to help with those 400mm shots.

I am just a amateur/passionate, but my initial impression of this lens is very positive!

I’ll put it to the test more in the next few days!
