upgrade advice x100t to x100v?

Hi , I'm looking for some advice, preferably from those who have owned both the x100t and x100v. The first thing to say is that I still love my x100T especially for people shots. I like to take photos on holidays , but also use my T for recording general life. I'm not particularly into street photography as I live by the sea in the country.

While the T has been great , I do find myself cropping quite a lot and have hankered after both weather sealing (I've been reluctant to take the camera on the beach at times) and increased megapixels . I also like the idea of the 50 and 70 mm equivalent crops, though I realise this could just as easily be done in post processing. I only occasionally  use it for video, and don't really feel limited by the absence of a tilting screen, though I'm sure there are times when this would have been useful. Acros sounds good, though I haven't missed what i haven't got in this regard. I dont think I've ever needed a faster frame rate.

I have a nikon D3500 that I use for wildlife. I had it with me on holiday recently but never packed it in my bag as I always have the T with me , and with the 18-55mm lens it's not as robust to have sitting around in a daypack - and its extra weight.

Is the X100V a significantly better camera for landscape photography than the T? Is the weather sealing good? Clearly its not great getting salty water into any camera, but would you feel confident getting seascapes with it?

A lingering concern is the absence of the 4 way controller on the V and the flush buttons. How do V owners feels about these compared to former iterations?

A trade in for the F will cost me about £400 and the V will cost around £700. I realise I could just get an xt-2 with pancake lens, and this wouldn't be much bigger and should be more robust to chuck in a back pack. Another option would be a sony rx100 or RIcoh gr2/3. But then we're talking about more camers and I do like the simplicity of just having one camera with me at a time.

thoughts please?
