Re: What is your adapted lens "system"

This is a very personal choice thing, everyone has different budgets and significant others that have different levels of acceptance for our hobby and the room it takes up.

A somewhat simple method to reduce the bulk is to use the EF mount as a halfway point, longer mounts can mount to an EF adapter and shorter mounts get their own.

I generally stick to these mounts: Pentax K, M42, Nikon F, Exakta, LTM, Leica M, Canon FD/FL, Minolta SR, Konica AR, Leica R, C/Y (Contax/Yashica), and Olympus OM, this covers the vast majority of the most common mounts, I've mostly bought lenses as they present themselves to me in my travels and then bought adapters to test them, I wouldn't buy expensive adapters unless you fall in love with a particular mount/lens line.

I like each line for different reasons, sometimes even one lens is enough to keep the mount so I kept most of them, my Topcor lenses would likely be the last to go, followed by my rangefinder lenses then my Minolta's, FD's, and Leica R, then the first to go would be the revers focus direction lenses, Nikkor, Pentax, and X-Fujinon.

make a list of all your lenses, rank them in order of how badly you want to keep them and why, the critical mounts should be obviously the end of the process.

####Where's my FF NEX-7 ?????
Firmware request:
-A button map for toggling the EVF & LCD
-Still waiting for the minimum shutter speed with auto ISO for my NEX-7 and A7r. I know it will never happen.
-Customize the display screen layout, I'd love to have both Histogram and level at the same time.
-More peaking options, being able to set peaking sensitivity and a threshold level.
-An RGB overlay on the histogram https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/602/20236258313_c604dd9522_n.jpg
-An option to return the focus assist zoom to one button press
-An option to return to how the NEX-7 handled playback, ie. center button to zoom, then you could use the control dial to zoom in and out, then center button to exit the zoom mode.
