Fujifilm vs. Nikon - X-T3/X-T4 vs. Z 6 and a bit of X100F/X100V

Hello everyone!

This will be somewhat longish, but maybe some of you could help me out.

I am currently trying to wrap my head around the comparison of the Fuji X and Nikon Z system, specifically the f2.8/f4.0 (Fuji/Nikon) offerings.

If I compare the following kits (Fuji - Nikon), the pure weight and current prices (still excluding some fabulous bundle prices) are in Nikon‘s favour:

X-T4 - Z 6

8-16mm f2.8 - 14-30mm f4.0

16-55mm f2.8 - 24-70mm f4.0

50-140mm f2.8 - AF-S 70-200mm f4.0

35mm f1.4 - 50mm f1.8

Nothing - FTZ adapter

In Germany, the Nikon kit is almost 1,000 EUR cheaper and about 300g (i.e. approx. 10%) lighter. So comparing apples to apples the weight/size advantage of APS-C is shrinking. And in a store I found the ergonomics of the Z 6 and the 24-70mm f4.0 to be really good.

Has anyone thoroughly compared the systems with some of these lenses? Would the Nikon FF system give a noticeable high ISO advantage (pixel pitch) or does the additional light-gathering f-stop and better IBIS of the Fuji overcompensate this? How about focus performance in a landscape, travel, family setting?

By the way, video is not a focus (yet).

Might the Nikon glass (at least the new Z lenses) be sharper than the Fuji glass? Bonus for Nikon: nice AF-S primes should be easy to find and perfectly fine when not doing sports etc. The XQD card decision sucks though.

I am a bit weary about Fuji‘s direction. I really dislike the X-T4‘s tilty screen (as well as the dropped D-pad on the X-Pro3/X100V but would like to have a sharp, stabilised, weather-sealed normal zoom. No luck with my X-T3 and the 16-55mm f2.8 (not bought yet) re stabilisation. The 16-80mm f4.0 seems to have too many compromises in my book and is too expensive for a mere bad-weather lens. An updated 18-55mm with weather sealing would be very welcome!

An 23mm f2.0 would be OK as a stopgap in the meantime, if I did not already have and love my X100F. The X100V should be weather resistant with the filter set. But there was one report here that concluded that this is not the case. Any more experiences here? Also regarding the different noise levels between the X100F and X100V?

I am just thinking aloud as I see a missing puzzle piece here but want to look left and right before putting more money on the table.

Any input is appreciated.
