Re: Explain?

I tend to agree. Lighter would certainly be a good thing but I want to keep internal zoom. Seems I am shooting in lots of dust or rain.

Shooting Soccer , fast action Events and small, fast erratic birds both of my 70-200 f2,8 lenses have been sharp enough since corners were not a huge deal. What I did appreciate was the accuracy and speed of AF. The D3S/70-200 f2.8G mk II was an all time favorite of mine. I shot the latest model with a D5 and Z7, lovely lens, and found speed of acquisition slightly slower with the Z7 (but still fast).

I am not shooting much sport these days and there are no Events during this long Lockdown but will get a chance to shoot the new S at some point. Then I will see about spending the money.   There might even be a Z6S/Z7S by that time  ,

Anticipate the Light and wing it when you get it wrong but always have fun
