If you look on Life Pixel site you will see under camera conversion they offer to remove the anti-aliasing filter option for Canon R - that is removing the low band pass filter (it fact all of their conversions remove this filter). The basically take the camera apart, remove all the filters in front of the sensor and replace them with either glass (full spectrum conversion) or am infra-red filter.

I have had a couple of cameras converted by them for infra-red imaging and the resolution improves on these conversion at the cost of some moire effects (under limited conditions this becomes visible).
