Hi, welcome to DPR,

IMO your pictures are quite good for camera of that type (point and shoot).

Do you have better experiences with another, but same type of, camera ?

-Try to take pictures in "P" mode.

-Set in menu to maximum resolution and picture quality.

-Try out the other settings beside "vivid".

-If you find it needed, change de colour temperature in the WB.

-Personally I would take pictures in a 3:2 ratio instead of 4:3.

When, after this, nothing is to your satisfaction, than take photos with your phone only.
