Just picked up the RP, will the EF 24-105 be all right or should I pay nearly triple for the RF?

Hi everyone. I just picked up the RP (still on way from Canon) to replace my 80D since I wanted an "in" into the FF world. Anyways, I am on a budget, but I can get the 24-105 EF L lens (first version since I don't do any videography) for around 400€. I could also get the RF version for 1,100€. That's considerably more. I know from reviews that the RF version is faster and sharper by a bit, but since it's already a big step up from what I currently have... should I stick with the adapter + 24-105 EF version and save 700€ for more glass down the line, or should I just save up now and get the RF version? Is the EF + adapter going to be so darn awkward on the RP?

Thanks.

You could always try somewhere like e-infinity and get the RF lens for considerably less than €1100;

They get great reviews and I’ve used them at least half a dozen times with new problem at all

Awesome, thanks for the link. 750€. I'd rather get the RF version for that price! Thanks a bunch! I tried eBay, Wallapop, and even google shopping but this store didn't even show up. Thanks again for the link, mate!

Regards.

I think the RF is improved enough to be worth it. I would add to that: This is a walk around focal range. Hence it might be worth it to get rid of the adapter.
