A9 II Colour Issue. Sky colour changes between bursts.

Could someone give me an idea of what's going on here please?

I took two bursts of shots of this distant bird. The sky colour is quite different in each burst. One is purple-ish, the other cyan. The second burst was taken a fraction of a second after the end of the first one. I basically lifted my finger from the shutter and then pressed again.

When I load the images into ACR, the As Shot colour temperatures are both 5000 deg. In the first image the tint is +10 and in the second +9. If I adjust them to be the same, the sky in the images is still very different.

So it feels like I have some sort of auto white balance issue making the two sequences different but I can't see what to change in ACR to make them the same. What is causing this difference?

Here's the last image from the first sequence.

And here's the first image from the second sequence.

Any assistance greatly appreciated.
