Macro photography anyone?

I also posted this question on the macro forum, but this forum doesn’t seem as lively as this one. That’s why I also post it here.

Until now I haven' t done a lot in macro photography (once had this dedicated m4/3 macro lens/50mm, but that' s years ago).

I’m thinking about starting in macro photography (after a short period with the Zuiko 50mm when I used m4/3rds). At the moment I'm using the Sony A7RIV / 16-35mm GM and the Zeiss Batis 85mm. For macro I think a proper 1:1 or 2:1 macro lens would serve me best. It doesn't have to excel in portraits (have my Batis for this); so I' ll probably use it as a kind of specialist lens for macro only. Not interested in portrait work with such a lens.

I've read quite a few reviews, but I' m always interested in personal experiences.

So far I've limited my choice to:

1- Voigtlander APO 110mm f2.5

2. Sony 90mm f2.8 macro

3. Laowa 100 mm f2.8 2x Ultra Macro

I know about some specifics (manual/2:1 Laowa/AF Sony/etc.), but I would like to read your personal experiences with any of these lenses (or even all?). At the moment, the difference in price of these lenses is not very important (although not Zeiss Otus prices ofcourse); I strife for "best" IQ.

I think I would like to have some lens/body communication (so maybe the Laowa is out?). Is it a matter of "cannot go wrong with either" of these 3 lenses?

Maybe some even have other ideas (without getting too complicating with rails/etc.)? Easy portable and easy setup.

Thank you.
