I own the 40-150/2.8 and the MC20. I use to own the original version of the 75-300/5.6-6.7. The image quality is better with the 40-150/2.8 + MC20. Plus it is f5.6 so better in lower light. Plus without the MC20 the straight 40-150/2.8 is maybe the best zoom lens image quality that Olympus makes.

The 75-300 is lighter and more compact if this is important thing.

I got the new 100-400/5.0-6.3 on order. I hope it will pair up with the 12-100/4.0 to give me a good general kit. I do find only going to 300mm to be a limitation for what I like to photograph.
