Comparing the 28-70 to a 15-35 shows a difference of 1.3lb in weight. Not exactly a deal breaker considering it's in a pack with weight being distributed over shoulders/waist strap/chest strap.

Also, Peak Design Capture is a great system.Even for a lens that large physically. Once clipped in use your packs chest strap to keep the barrel secure.

The trick with the capture clip is situating it so that it is located high enough on the shoulder strap where there is peak force against your clavicle/chest. I have always had great success position it level with the start of your arm pit.
