Z50 and Z6 70-300mm AF-P and 50-250mm DX

I was out exploring to find a new shooting location this morning. I ended up at the location and didn't see much going on wildlife wise and I was really just scouting but had the Z6 with the 70-300mm AF-P just in case and the Z50 had the 16-50mm. In the short time I was there I did see a plant I couldn't Identify.

It looked like a ferny kind of thing but then I noticed a flower at one end of a leaf.

The dewdrops cought my eye so I shot it with the 16-50mm

When I returned to my car I noticed a bird up on a wire. It was kind of far away but I thought it was a Green Heron. I don't usually see them in this position so shot a picture for confirmation with the Z6, FTZ and 70-300mm AF-P. Here is the full image.

It certainly wasn't a great shot. The subject didn't fill the frame and the wires weren't exactly photogenic.

BUT, I did have the Z50 and though I could use it as a TC with the 70-300mm. So I swapped lenses, turned around and the bird was gone. With all that work swapping lenses, I decided to turn it into a WOOD-SAP lens comparison. So, I shot the wire with the Z50, FTZ and 70-300mm AF-P. Here is a crop of the result.

Then I put the 50-250mm on the Z50 and shot this one cropped to the same size.

When I swapped the lenses back I took the opportunity to shoot a birdless version on the Z6 and crop to the same size.

So, the WOOD-SAP results show the Z50 plays well with both lenses and the Z6 suffers a bit with big crops.
