Sony A7R3 + Latest Metabone Adaptor = Canon R5 MIGRATION

Canon and Canon-RS is TWO brands!  It is MIGRATION and not UPGRADE.

Adapter needed for Canon lenses to run on Canon-RS, isn't this the same as what we have on Sony A7R3 with the many adapters for Canon native lenses (non-RS lenses)?

It is such a wonder how "branding" in Marketing strategies can create.

To me personally Canon is creating a New Branding and a new brand "CANON-RS" from the same company.

You get terms like "native performance", "adapted performance", "non-RS", etc.

Then Canon claim you can use the whole range of the non-RS lenses on the R5/R6.

Similar to Sony own adapters.

So you can also see the R5/R6 is a MIGRATION, not an UPGRADE.

So possible to migrate to A7R3 or even A7R4 (pixel range) instead of R5, JUST NEED a GOOD ADAPTER build for Canon NON-RS lenses.

Funny perspective, but seem quite similar for Canon to Canon-RS Migration.
