If they would keep this screen but make it articulate so you can flip it flat, I think the screen would have more universal appeal.

We don’t care about universal appeal! That’s the beauty of this... it isn’t the same as every other camera.

What I find most off putting isn't the screen as much as the loss of some buttons and hybrid screen features.

Plenty of other great cameras out there for you thankfully.
