Problem with Safari browser

I'm using OSX Catalina 10.15.6 and Safari 13.1.2. There's a problem viewing articles on dPreview that is only occurring on this particular Macbook Pro -- it doesn't occur on another Macbook that happens to be running the previous version of Apple's operating system (Mojave).

Looking at the column o links under News, when I click on one of the links, I get directed to a text-heavy, limited graphics version of the story. And there's no way to get beyond that page, even though there are that should take me deeper into the story.

If I use Chrome on the same story with this same Macbook, I get the normal, graphics-heavy version.

No settings have changed in Safari, as far as I can tell.

Is this a Safari 13.1.2 problem?  A combined Catalina/Safari problem?
