deSABed X100F - thank you Fujifilm !

Praise to the flawless Fuji service

I recently came across an X100F with some  "aperture problem", as the owner described it. The camera would "occasionally expose wrongly". As it was cheap I convinced myself that the owner was probably incompetent to handle the camera and bought it.

After arrival it turned out, that the camera had stuck aperture blades wide open, after only a couple of thousand exposures.

The owner had also included the purchase receipt and the camera was just finishing it's warranty term.

Luckily Fuji exchanged the lens unit in under a month under warranty.

Thank you Fujifilm !

Quite frankly, I had not expected that the camera had some mechanical fault. In 40 years with various cameras I have never seen stuck apertures blades. Only after I actually saw the stuck blades I read up about the X100 SAB issues and the few effected later models.
