srgb monitor for photo editing?

Hi,

I am looking for a new monitor to replace my very old Samsung monitor.
The main use will be photo editing (some "light" gaming, video editing, and standard pc use)

I have been looking around those past few days (Youtube, reviews etc) and budget wise I turn around 500-550€. At first I wanted a RGB scale color monitor but those are a little more expensive. So i guess I will have to stick with a srgb monitor.

I am really looking for a good monitor in my price range. I am a enthusiast/semi-pro photographer. I also do print on a regular base with a Lab.

Is srgb (100% -109%) fine?

One of my choices is the BenQ PD2700U 100% srgb - 10 bit monitor.

I also saw a Philips monitor with 109% srgb. Philips 278E1. (But Philips would not be my first choice).

Is the HDR "technlogy" of any use for photo editing?

Any ideas or advices?
Thanks
