Animal AI tracking seems very responsive. It did a good job here but it can't keep up with a hummer when it is moving very quickly over a large distance (not that this should surprise anyone).

Did eye AF work when the hummingbird was hovering?

Hard to remember. It happened very fast. I think it was switching back and forth between eye and body but I can't be positive about that. As you can see the eye/head was obscured at times and it still stayed on the body.


We’re these humming bird shots done with the electronic shutter or the mechanical shutter?
