The DiMage 7 was manufactured with a very weak "heat mirror" or IR blocking filter. This was "corrected" in all later models, so using a IR720 filter on any later models will require very long exposure times. That said, YMMV.

The pano shots were at 1/30th second, f4, at 200 IS0. Just hand-holdable in bright light with the IR720 filter. That's an effective ISO of about 4 to 8 . On a dull day, a tripod would be required.
