I think they're The Ones to have after having MANY alternatives, because I thought Billingham was too expensive until I finally sprung for one. Now I have several. No velcro, most are readily accessible yet ideal to use in a downpour. Sure, if not fully secured they'll dump their contents, but that's the trade off for the durable design.  The velcro dividers help to pack a lot of gear while keeping it all separated.

If one tends to dump the contents more than once, one's practices needs to be reassessed (like, it only takes once to learn not to leave your coffee or camera on the vehicle's roof).
