If you have X100T and you care about stills and not video, you will not get much by moving to X100V

Re: Differences between generations, for stills shooters

You still get the better lens, the longer battery life, and the weather sealing though. But for me there is not enough difference between the X100F and X100V indeed. The difference between the "T" and "F" is relatively small as well, as you mentioned.

Yeah unless you need HUGE prints or crop a lot those 3 cameras are pretty much same same for stills.

1.  The AF on the T was good enough for me, tried the F and found nowt much difference.  Nobody uses and X-100 for sports.....  And it was no slouch anyway, the reviews IMO and IME overplayed the slow AF which |i never found it to have even doing street at night

2.  The lens yeah at F2 was not great and also at any aperture with direct bright light points, it would flare, but that;s not gonna happen in many photos and didn't to me

Aside from that at the time I was using a Nikon 24mp D5300 and good glass and the T held up for IQ

Only point I felt it lacking was on bright light points, like deep at night shooting bright lights on Oxford street, the lens would make them bleed a bit too much for me, compared to other cameras I use.

Maybe the new lens is a lot different.  If not, I'd save the dough and take a T again any time
