Ah, no I think you misunderstand. I was not using a tripod, I just noticed that if I simply place the camera on my kitchen table, the camera tilts a little over, so not the best solution to place the camera on a hard surface. I mean, you would think the nice flat bottom of the camera would make the camera sit on the flat table surface, but it tilts forwards ever so slightly it seems.

I tested this just now, with the camera off, the camera is still and solid on the table, with the camera set to on, it tilts a little forwards and presumably is resting on some part of the extrended lens housing.
