The rear screen was fogged on the inside.

That's a problem with the LCD. Water has leaked between its laminated layers. It won't impact the images but will make it difficult to see the screen. How long does it take to clear? Desiccant won't help much with this.

So, to clarify, this camera , brand new TG6, was used 3x, for 15 min. each, the first two times in the water, then several days later, maybe a week, we took it to the beach on a dry but sunny day, a bit on the chilly side so we didn't go in the water. Within only a few minutes of taking it out of my bag the screen was fogged and streaky, precluding being able to see what we were shooting. I immediately contacted B&H and initiated a Return authorization, which is where it is now, to be replaced.

In the meantime, I've gone back to the TG4 and am trying to deal with foggy lens and screen that occurs within minutes of using it in the water, a problem I've had with it every summer for three summers. I love these cameras and want them to work.

Two separate cameras, sorry for the confusion.
