To a point, yes, but in reality, no I disagree. the layout is different, but the editing tools are similar, and organisation is still more akin to Photos than Aperture.

For those who haven't used it in a while, note that it's improved considerably. The best new feature IMHO is the ability to use LUTs, and the implementation is very simple to use, easier than Adobe's. And it works on the iPad or iPhone.

It’s on the iPad where I have found it to suddenly not only become useful, but actually essential if you want to make any use of Photos.
