Canon MILC, Alien Bee and PocketWizards MiniTT/Flex5 with AC9

Like possibly many Canon users, I have decided to buy into the new EOS mirorless ecosystem.

I have old Alien Bee strobes (old gen AB800) which I used to trigger with PocketWizards AC9 triggers connected to Flex5 and with MiniTT + AC3 zone controller on the hot shoe of the camera.

I realize that those triggers are no longer supported by the manufacturer, and hence I wonder if anyone around still uses them.

I know that Control TL likely won't work with mirorless EOS camera, but I wonder if triggers can be operated in manual mode and if power of the Alien Bee's can be adjusted from AC3.

If answer is yes, then what would be the maximum x-sync for the current EOS R cameras?
