Re: Hold that thought

I had left the world of SLR years back not wanting to carry around lenses. I used a lot of Panasonic point and shoots, and then moved to the FZ-1000. This was the first time I started considering more about sensor size. 2019 came and after having some of the vacation shots with the 1000 blown up and printed on canvas I realized the effects of sensor, and limited upload to a printer would play havoc. Looked at a lot of cameras then, not wanting to up to a DSLR, but wanting a little more than the 1000. Short list included Fuji, Canon, Sony, and compared images to FZ-1000. Amazing differences, and yet pointed out how good the FZ-1000 was. However, when I compared the APS-C images the Canon M6 ii was a larger image, and even though a bit fuzzy in places, better color compared to the Sony 6400, and the Fuji XT-30. . . Subjective< I know. long run went for the Canon with the kit small zoom, the 28-200 Tamron, and just lately picked up the Sigma 30-1.4, for faster light-great depth of field control.  Last camera I will be getting at 70, but wow, love it, can carry it well, and it takes great shots.
