So it's better to raise iso 1stop then compensate -1 EV if you need a higher shutterspeed in effect to noise at the end when correcting in post?

I mostly use it to overcome highlight issues and knowing that raising shadows is easier then recovering highlights, blown is blown wile black is only no detail which can be result in dark grey with no detail wile blown highlight is ugly when turned down.

I sometimes use bracketing to choose afterwards which suits me most.
