BUT, since the NX line is abandoned, please DO NOT BUY MORE NX LENSES, they are "electric" types and the command codes have not been broken.
(Well, this is also up to you, my advise is on "economic" side...)

I really dont mind buying great NX lenses as long as they are cheap. Good lenses can take the shooting experience to a another level, especially if my main goals is printing large prints. If I keep selling prints, the whole investment in this kit plus some great NX glass will pay itself over time. So it is not a concern at all.

That is true. My leica M lenses are a true testament of that. I would love to use them on the NX500 but apparently there is no adapter for this. At least, I could not find one.

Instead buy lenses (with adapter) with manual focus, eventual manual aperture (older or third part).

I found locally a speedbooster adapter for Canon EF Lenses for NX cameras for $200... But because I have no EF lenses, I am not very excited about buying it...

After NX500, you will chose the "best" (for you) available camera at that time (at least few good years from now), and all these lenses will be usable with an ordinary adapter, manually.

Usually I hold to my cameras for a long time... If I truly like the NX500 output, I might be in the market again looking for a backup body or even better, a NX1.
