You're welcome, krloz.

As with the primes, 16/2.4 was not that bad. Stopped down to F/4 the image quality was quite nice. I also had 20/2.8 which was a bit sharper than 16/2.4, but never used it too much, as I always preferred 30/2 and its awesome character. Maybe it depends on a certain copy, not sure. In that case my 30/2 was a fabulous one. Still cannot understand how could they accommodate that much lens in such a small housing.

There's also a 45/1.8 prime, never used it, but maybe someone can comment it a bit? Seems like a decent prime with its max. 1.8 aperture. I think they also had a version with 3D effect somehow built in the lens - need to figure it out also (Samsung named it 2D/3D lens).

Good luck with your decisions with NX500 and once the decision is made, it would be great to hear your first impressions!

The 30mm is probably my overall favourite, I also can't believe they packed it in to such a small lens. My only slight problem with the 30mm is that the focal length can be too long for general use. The 16mm and 20mm are better in this regard but they are lacking slightly compared to the 30mm.

I'm also a fan of the 45mm, a very sharp lens and wide aperture. And it's fairly small. I have the 3d version and I did experiment with the 3d briefly. There are guides online on how to do it and use regular 3d glasses but it's a bit long winded, the aperture gets reduced due it splitting and the subject has to be the right distance from the lens. But it's a novelty I suppose and looks quite cool.
