Neowise and the 150/2 ....

Neowise showing off her two tails shortly after sunset ...

The curved white tail comprises the debris and dust ejected by the comet when being heated by the sun, each particle now its own journey dictated by the forces of gravity, light, and solar wind. The faint, straight, blue tail is the light emitted from ions formed by the UV radiation of the sun acting on the gas emissions.
