I read a lot of comment here, and I read that someone a Sony’s shooter APS-C who will not go Full Frame because of the price.

And I agree 100% with him, even if I appreciate the R system, I will stay with the M system for a long long time. Because it is affordable, light and compact (lenses and camera).

What if I were Canon for M system, I would do 3 type of camera :

1. Low cost M200 like but call M500 with LP-E17 for 300€ body only.

2. Mid cost M50 with LP-E17 & separate EVF for 600€ body only.

3. High cost M5 with LP-E17 & separate EVF & IBIS for 900€ body only.

Same batteries & same sensor & same processor for all in order to have one product so one supplier.

For M50 & M5 same body design in order to have a simple line of production,

separate EVF in order to please a lot of customers,

You ARE joking right?

People are screaming for a built-in EVF (hence the multiple references to M5/M50 as the framework for a MkII variants and you are suggesting external EVFs - if that is what you want Canon already have an amazing high-end M camera with an external EVF - it's called M6 MkII - you should check it out!

exactly, that's the main reason I got the Sony A6400 instead of the M6II
