Go read the Fuji forum. There are several threads full of people freaking out about the R6. The same thing happened when the Z6 launched.
Insecure people who dont know what they want cameras for always freakout when a new camera arrives.
You missed the point. AdamT was suggesting that Canon needs to up their game with crop sensor bodies to compete against Sony and Fuji crop bodies. My point was that Canon is indeed competing against Fuji, but with full frame, not crop bodies. Fuji users have taken notice of the full frame alternatives, but don't give the M system the slightest bit of attention.
Wait a minute! Aren't you a Fuji user? Judging by the amount of posting you do on this forum, you give the M system pretty much all your attention (unless you have one of those Harry Potter time turners, so you can go back and also post all the time on the Fuji forum).
And as for Canon needing to up its M game to compete with Fuji (as you say AdamT was suggesting), it doesn't matter how many great lenses are available, so long as the ones you need are available. I wouldn't take any Fuji with any number of their great lenses over my M6II and the 4 primes (all EF-M mount) and 2 zooms (1 EF-M, 1 adapted EF) that I use a lot. Others may think differently, but I suspect that Canon is selling plenty of their M cameras. It's always hilarious to read keyboard warriors who are convinced that they know more about marketing and development than one of the biggest and most successful camera companies in the world.
I wouldn't buy a fuji because the glass is too expensive for apsc as compared to the siggy 56 and 16 and canon 32
Sony is closer because it supports the siggy's and the next few iterations of the 6600 could be interesting if the get the menu and this brick straightened out
without sigma introducing the 56 and 16, it would be bummer over here in m land imo
A knock your socks off m5II/m50II with IBIS and a few more lenses could be a fuji and sony killer imo. What Adam said was true - they don't care about fuji and sony, they only care about not cannibalizing their R and RF FF glass. It's sad because they have a great sensor in that 32 mpxl and they have some really nice glass in the 11-22 and 32
