Macro for what? Product photography, critters, jewelry?

People already commented on AF lenses that can be adapted with the FTZ: Micro-Nikkor 105/2.8, Sigma 105 OS, Tamron 90/2.8, Tokina 100/2.8, etc.

I have a Sigma 150/2.8 non-OS and I like the extra reach, but no AF + EVF lag is a pain for moving insects. Since both bugmas (150/2.8 OS and 180/2.8) are no longer listed on Sigma's site, I expect we are going to see updates soon.

Manual focus lenses - Micro Nikkor 105/2.8 AF-D, Zeiss 100/2 1:2 (Currently sold as Milvus version only), Irix Dragonfly 150/2.8, Laowa 100mm 2:1, anything else you can use with an adapter.

I’m just planning to use it for some newborn detail photos with our new baby.  Really I don’t need 1:1, but considering macro for the assurance of close focus distances.

Thanks for the suggestions.  I’ll consider them as I work into a Macro lens eventually.
