Counterattack by Sony?

Canon threw down the gauntlet with their upcoming R5 and R6. Clearly, Sony needs to strike back to stay in the game. Right now, I think Sony's main advantage is in its sensor technology and AF system. I believe Canon has an edge in many key areas like IBIS, mechanical shutter, color science, AWB, camera body design (grip, buttons, etc), menu, etc. This is worrisome for Sony to say the very least.

What are key areas that Sony should work on ASAP? Any comments welcome.

Personally, I think my top 5 choices would be:

1) Lossless compressed RAW
2) 14bit RAW in AFC instead of 12bit.
3) Improved IBIS
4) Better color science, esp for skin tones
5) 10bit 4:2:2 4K video when recording internally and 4K 4:2:2 12 bit RAW when recording externally.

I think competition is good for the consumer. Hopefully, we get better products at lower prices!
