With your input, you'll will help me and maybe others with purchasing decisions. Thanks in advance.

We don't really know yet. Oh, except the price of the whizzy memory cards, but that's just the way it is.
Candidates will include:
* How well it works with EF lenses
* Did it get the new/whizzy AA filter or not
* Requirement for external GPS
* Real-World heat limits for video (Canon are very conservative, so may be better than people are expecting, but have to wait and see).

Yes indeed.

I definitely want to know how he R5 fairs with EF lenses as I have a full range of them.

I don't use GPS in a Camera much, but do look forward to a BlueTooth connection.

The heat dissipation issue may not effect my usage at all, but I'd like to lurk on comments for a while, before making the buy, not just about the heat dissipation issue, but also about other ergo, comfort and MTBF sort of issues, until the R5 settles in as a Stable product.

I can still push some more cash into the budget for the Battery Grip, a AC Power Adapter, additional Batteries and of course, some RF Lenses.

"If you are among those who believe that it has all been done already and nothing new can be achieved, you've murdered your own artistry before ever letting it live. You abort it in its fetal state. There is much that has yet to be spoken in art and composition and it grows with the passage of time. Evolving technologies, world environments and ideologies all drive change in thoughts, passion and expression. There is no way that it can all ever be done already. And therein lies the venue for the creative artist, a venue that is as diverse as the universe is unmapped and unexplored." - Quote from FlyingLentris
