Sigma fp 12bit DNG RAW 4K Color Test Using Flora, and a Chicken
1

When you shoot RAW, what gamma and color gamut in post do you choose to get a watchable video (REC709)? Well, the gamma from the sensor is linear this is relevant for all cameras that shoot real RAW video, not the semi-RAW codecs like BRAW and ProResRAW), and you get the widest color gamut, so I chose REC2020 for the color gamut. I find this does very well.

Flowers are good tests, because they come in many colors but these colors are well known (hydrangeas, for example), and one can compare the resulting video with what you saw (as opposed to skin tones, which have no standard at all (everyone is different)). There is some human skin the video. Sure, one can use a color chart, but who wants to watch a video with a color chart, compared to seeing a chicken?

Shot using the Panasonic L 24-105 F4 lens. Camera color mode was of course irrelevant to RAW.

Edited in DaVinci Resolve, using the transform of linear, REC2020 to REC709. No LUT, no other alterations to color except full saturation.

And, here's a frame grab of the chicken:
