Do you use film differently than digital?

Re: Do you use film differently than digital?

Thanks for the question.

Use is very different for me, the film camera gets deployed for special events - people often like having the look as well as the deluge of digital images.

The other context is travelling in particular circumstances. At times I don't want to be flashing several $k of gear in peoples' faces, or else I'm a long way from charging facilities - in which case, my trusty F601 can do the business very nicely.

Having digital to experiment with is also very valuable, especially with flash - I can check out the scene and exposures and then take with film with more freedom.

I loved taking BW, but I feel that's a different way of seeing, it's hard to mix.
