The only mirrorless camera I've used has been the Nikon Coolpix P1000 which I got in order to get a 3000mm lens.
Normally I use a Canon 5D or 7D.
I do mostly nature shots with lots of fast moving distant animals.
The P1000 is totally worthless for that because you lose the image when you take a picture. It's hard to track a bird in flight when there are gaps like that.
So does anyone know how long the gap is for the R6?
Is it viable for birds in flight and other fast moving nature shots like breaking waves etc?
The 800mm lens certainly has appeal and I'm sure that other vendors will bring cheaper 100-500 or 100-600 lens that are good enough for an amateur.
Thanks for any insights!

Yes it will. Read Sigma, etc not until next year if you want an RF mount.

I feel even more confident that soon things will have a wonderful conclusion
